At The Kookery, we create food-centered experiences that bring thoughtful menus, imaginative presentation, and warm hospitality to private events in Los Angeles. Led by Chef Shieya, a Food Network-winning chef, our cooking draws on her South Texas upbringing, Latin American traditions, West Indian family recipes, and fine-dining experience in Los Angeles. Our catering services include hors d’oeuvres, charcuterie boards, grazing tables, seasonal menus, cocktail catering, and three-course plated dinners. For a more personal gathering, we offer chef’s-table dining in a client’s home, with starters, entrées, and desserts served as a curated meal. We also create fresh cocktail programs, including drinks prepared in-house or batched and served by our Los Angeles bartending team. For celebrations that need a setting as well as food, The Kookery Loft in downtown Los Angeles offers a private event space and an intimate outdoor dining patio. Our team can coordinate custom decorations, menus, cocktails, and cleanup, helping hosts focus on their guests instead of managing every detail. We can also incorporate floral elements into the overall event experience.
