At Inspired Catering & Events, we bring food, event planning, and personalized hospitality together to create memorable gatherings throughout Chicago. Karen and Gina Stefani purchased the business in 2015, continuing a family tradition that began in 1980 when Phil Stefani and his uncle opened their first restaurant, Stefani’s. Today, our team serves weddings, corporate functions, social celebrations, Chicago street fairs, and private dining events at homes and venues.
We work closely with every client to develop custom menus that suit the occasion, guest preferences, and event style. Our culinary team prepares a wide range of dishes, from gourmet appetizers and seafood specialties to international entrées, vegetarian selections, and plated wedding dinners. For larger events, we offer buffet service, family-style dining, cocktail receptions, and customized beverage packages. We also arrange menu consultations and tastings to help clients finalize their choices.
Beyond catering, our event managers coordinate venue selection, rentals, linens, room setup, staffing, music, floral arrangements, and other event details. We also connect clients with experienced photographers, bakers, musicians, lighting specialists, and other event professionals.
